We will be exploring the beautiful country of Peru. This country is blessed with an enormous variety of landscapes, ecosystems, cultures, historical sites and incredible plant diversity. We will be visiting the following areas:

• Lima – the capitol of Peru with a many historical sites and museums

• Cuzco – A beautiful Spanish colonial town that was once the center of the Inca World

• Machu Pichu – the most famous of the Inca Ruins

• Sacred Valley – home to several charming Andean villages and markets

• Lake Titicaca – the world’s highest navigable lake with breathtaking scenery.

• Cordillera Blanca - the largest mountains in Peru and also to observe the Puya raimondii, the worlds largest Bromeliad

Even though we will be visiting many World Heritage and historical sites there will be plenty of opportunities to view and photograph the amazing plant diversity in Peru.
